Ruger SR762 - Failure to Feed. Need help

I am not one for dealer bashing, but I do believe that dealer needs to stick to there words and I am really disappointed in IRG .

Please steel cap for u and all of us who bought or are thinking of buying from IRG please start a tread on there forum. And I will stick to my guns if they don't help you they won't see any more money from me!

They've made multiple claims in many threads that they will look after warranty for everything they sell.

Ship it back to the importer, these are the costs of selling firearms, they will have to take care of it for you.
If ruger themselves are saying that there is a problem, its up to the importer to handle the repair.

In the 3 month period of emails, including Ruger support in New Hampshire asking to send it back, there was no reply whatsoever from IRG to take it back. I think it is reasonable and fair to say that there was no interest in taking it back for repair.

It does not sound like you have contacted Irunguns directly to send the rifle back. Calling them and asking them to live up to their claims is not the same as hoping they will chime in on an email to Ruger they were CC'd on.

They have been contacted directly multiple times and phone calls too.

I'm sorry to hear that, for your sake SteelCap and for any future customers of IRG of which I had thought about becoming one day.
IRG's needs to step up and assist in this matter not just to take care of SteelCap, but to put some faith back into their customers before this spreads any further or IRG will only lose sales/customers due to the concern of IRG not standing behind the warranty of any firearms they sale which they have stated they would.

I'm sorry to hear that as well. Irunguns really needs to step up to the plate on this one and make things right.

The rifle is with Snapshot. I have had regular communication and updates with them. They worked with me, explained to me the outcome of the investigation and put together an action plan on how to fix it. Even when they are currently not licensed to receive the parts, Snapshot made it part of their plan to get it for a single customer.

Good to hear Snapshots stepped up and you issue is being looked into in Canada.

IRG has responded on a new tread about the subject on there forum and said they will take care of it. I am waiting on a steel cap see if they took care of him.

On the ruger side, well I had a mini 14 I bought new, after 50-60 round it developed a extraction issue. Unfortunately it was over a year wen I tried to get it fix, so i just wanted to buy out of my pocket parts;ruger sent me to the Canadian warranty center, they said they didn't sell to private, they send me to a dealer, the dealer did not have anything, the dealer I got the gun from could not get the parts and same thing to all other place I called. I ended up selling the dam gun a put a cross on ruger.

Update and closure:

The paper work needed to receive the SR762 parts were completed on both sides of the border. Subsequently the parts arrived and has been fitted into the rifle. Snapshot had to fabricate a tool to remove the barrel and once that was done both upper and lower receiver were replaced. I received the rifle back in mid December and took it out couple of weeks back and unloaded about 120 plus rounds with no issue. That said, this issue is resolved.

I want to thank the good folks at Snapshot for going the extra mile and effort to fix the issue. Notably was the paper work they had to do in order to obtain the parts. Much appreciated.
