I'm a big fan of Glocks and the XD series. I also most recently sold my Ruger 345, which I liked allot to fund something else. The 345 was absolutely bullet proof and such a great weapon at a fabulous price point.

Ruger has a new line of striker fired pistols coming out, the first of which is the SR9.

Looks like a bad-ass little gun and with a barrel length of 105 mm, it should be good to go in the Canadian market.

Retail is $525 US.

If it's anything like the 345, I've got a choice to make (assuming somebody brings them in)

Hmm...is there a new factory installed barrel option for the Beretta PX4 Storm that I haven't heard of to make it legally importable into Canada? Last I've seen, the barrel length of 4" is just a touch shy of the Canadian requirement.

I was interested in the PX4 also.

I own a Ruger KP89DC and a Security Six in .357MAG...and I've been very pleased with their reliability and accuracy so far. The .357 is a 1980's wheelgun that my uncle bought new and handed down to me. The rifling in the barrel still looks mint after all these years. :)

Last months G&A magazine had some VERY good things to say about the SR9.

I'm hoping to pick one up if we get a canadian importer.
 
Went searching for a generic USA price for this gun as it always seems that the US MSRP is always higher than what they end selling them for.
