I took it to the range today. I can't believe it had been almost a year!!!

The old Ruger SRH with the 5" barrel must have been getting bored, well now it needs a good cleaning!

Had loads of fun with 240, 300, cast 300 and shotshell loads.

The shotshell loads were new for me, I just put them together in Speers shot cartridge with some #6 shot under some Bullseye. The results were very impressive and the pattern not too bad at all. At 15 yards I put most of the lead on paper. At 25 I consistently hit a 12 gauge shell on the ground and I could observe a lot of pellets hitting all around it. This is a good load for grouse and snakes!

I picked up a 9" SRH earlier this year, love how it shoots just not a fan of the long, long barrel.

Will have to send it out for a chop as soon as I remove the billboard off the barrel.
