G'day all, wondering if any of you have had any luck sourcing this bad boy in Canada? Ruger will not ship these to us, as it's a gun part.

Ruger Stock Module - High Comb/Standard Pull:

I recently purchased a Ruger 10/22 Collector's Series Second Edition:

It's a great little rifle, but now that I have a scope on it I'd love to be able to swap out modules and have the ideal cheek weld. Problem is, where to find one?

I was considering asking IRunGuns to bring it across the border for me, but I'm a little concerned at the price...

Any advice would help.

Thanks!

Try Snapshotsguns.com . They are the Ruger Warranty Center.

And go to the Ruger website and send a polite email to "ask the CEO" . l have always had a response.

Please post the results I'm sure their are more people looking for Ruger accessories .

have you tried to order from Ruger?

they seem to be strange about what they will and wont ship.
some stuff they will.... other stuff they wont....

but ya snapshot can get anything that ruger offers, just matter of time to get it in.

Forgot the details, had to go fetch the receipt...

Here's the dirty numbers: $32 for the stock module, $15 S&H, $6.11 HST. Total, $53.11 CDN delivered to my mailbox.

Oh, and it lines up my eye beautifully to the glass now, instantly. Looking forward to offhand shooting with this thing...

This is what the package was capable of BEFORE the high comb module upgrade (I'm the operator):

[I should mention the mods: Kidd Auto Bolt Release, Kidd Bolt Buffer, Ruger BX Trigger]

Nothing left to do to this piece, maybe an extended charging handle treat...

Great rifle!

Just clean it, shoot it. Wash, rinse, repeat. : )

you know what is strange, im 99.9% sure that the 2 ruger's i got that have that stock both came with the low and the high stock module BNIB.
i know the one did for sure because i ran with it until i put optics on than i switched over to the high one.

strange that your didnt come with it.

Ruger American Bolt Action Rimfires come with the 2 stock modules. The 10.22 versions with a similair stock that I have seen only come with 1 module.

I agree, they should come with both options, especially when the stock module feature is a selling point.

If your Rugers are American Rimfires, then they do come with both a low and high comb module, from what I understand. But not so with the 10/22 Collector's Series 2nd Ed. : (

At least I know I can get Ruger parts in Canada, just not very obvious!

Not sure about the 50th anniversary version though... That's the 10/22 I was really hoping to get my hands on, but they are very hard to come by. I have a thing for stainless steel. : )

i went and checked my parts bin and i have 2 of the combs.
so that would be one from my RAR and one from my 50th anv ed 10/22 (the original one)

there is what..... 4 different combs for these stocks?
high and low in both short and long, yes?

Just tried to order the stock model for this from Ruger.com. Found the info on here using the search - thanks for the info guys! Need to order the compact modules to make it fit my daughter better...
