Ruger stock

Has anybody ever modified a standard stock to fit a .920 bull barrel. I have a synthetic stock and I was wondering if anybody tried this. Maybe it isn't worth the effort.

It can be done with the wood stock, using a rotary burr chucked in a drill press. Not sure that I can be done with a synthetic stock.....might melt. A Hogue overmolded is cheep and available, so its probably not worth the effort.
