I bought a Ruger 10/22TS that I now realize did not come with an extractor. Has anyone dealt with the service dealers in Canada that Ruger lists:

Inland/Pacific Distributors, Ltd. - 3 Locations in the west
R. Nicholls Distributors - In Quebec
Location Snap Shots inc. - In Quebec

...or does anyone have a spare extractor plunger (I have ordered the Vol extractor so it and the spring are already covered).

Thanks

Does anyone know anything about Location Snap Shot? They have no web page and I can't find out anything about them. They are listed on Rugers site as a Canadian repair depot but thats it.

I once had concerns about Location Snapshot and Ruger repairs but after they replaced the cylinder in one of my Vaquero's and did it with a turn-around time of about 2 weeks I was both surprised and happy. I would not hesitate to use them again. Call first to make sure they have the part in stock.

Snapshot is the official Ruger Repair Depot for Canada. Paul is the gunsmith and he is one of the best around. Get a Repair Order from Ruger and then send the gun to Carole and Paul will fix it better than new.

Right on! Paul rocks! He fixed my brand new GP100 promptly and to my total satisfaction. I wish all gun companies were like Ruger and all smiths/techs were like Paul.

I'll get in touch with Snapshot on Monday but if it's going to require that I send them the gun...then forget it. Not worth the time to get $6 worth of parts...but thanks for the info! That is exactly what I was looking for!

I am getting the run aroud from snapshots on a 15-20min job. They have had my revolver for 6months. Waiting on parts? Called Nichols as soon as I said service they went right to "call snapshots they do all the repairs not us." guy was a real ass about it.

bobo1972 empty your PM box please I am trying to buy your stuff.

It is strange that the only warranty place in Canada has a hard time getting some parts from Ruger. You would think that Ruger would want warranty issues felt with ASAP!

Carole told me that Ruger doesn't just ship him the parts he needs when he needs them. They wait until there is a small pile in order to save a few bucks or something?
Makes no sense when half the time the parts will fit in a bubble wrap envelope! There is something wrong with how they run things and from my miscommunications with Carole I'm pretty sure SnapShot is not trying to fix the issue of getting parts in a timely fashion.
