Well after several searches I cannot find a value for a Ruger Tang safety. So figure would ask some persons who are more experienced in this field. Rifle is 338 WM. Has Ramline stock and Timney trigger, no rifle sights. Original stock is available also if desired to refinish. Bluing on action is great, barrel has had cold bluing and is oiled to keep rust under control. It likes hand loaded 225 Accubonds. It has been the go to rifle for many years and I know will kick my butt for selling but no one in family will shoot it and I have another Ruger in a stainless that I take out now. 338 dies would also be available. I figured 4-500 for rifle and dies, any input would be much appreciated.

I think $500-$600 including both stocks and brass, depending on how beat up they are. Most Tang Safety rugers I've looked at over the year have stocks that get have been beaten up pretty bad. The Ramline stock really adds no value.

The Ramline is not the best stock but definetly is nicer to pack, plus original has seen many miles and every scratch has a memory. Thank again for the input. Will post in the exchange forum and see what happens. Whoever gets it I know will have a rifle that will do it's job for many years and put big holes in things.

I paid $625 shipped (I think it was) for an excellent condition tang safety .338 Win Mag last year. Original finish with both bluing and wood at 90+%. With OP's description of use and finish touch ups I would think that getting ~$500 with both stocks would be the upper end if you want it to sell reasonably fast.
