Ruger threaded 22/45 not coming to Canada?

I've wanted one for awhile now and every dealer I ask say they are not getting them anyone know why?

whatever department handles the export permits in the states has decided that threaded barrels are to dangerous to export

Buy a regular one and find a gunsmith shop
to thread your barrel and move back the front sight.

SIG Mosquito and the GSG 1911 have threaded barrels.

I don't recomend the Mosquito.

The Sig and GSG are made in Europe, not the US, so there's no reason for them to be affected by US export regs
