It was a great rifle back when it came out at its $1700 CAD price point. At $3k, not very impressive.

Perfect example is the t3x ace target. It’s cheaper and has a better action

They’re very hard to get I wanted one but now I might have to find something else.

I built a Ruger American Gen II Prairie .223 onto an MDT Chassis that I had and with almost no load development, It is an impressively accurate rifle.
Probably about $1600 -1800 if I built it new.

I'm thinking that might be why the RPR is less desirable. At least for me.

Sounds like a simple business decision, discontinue product lines that are no longer profitable to manufacture

Ruger is discontinuing a lot of their very popular offerings, especially the revolvers
I think this decision is gonna bite them in the arse in the long run
