Well i tossed the coin and the Ruger Ultralight came home with me tonight.
Now i need to scope it and see what this gun likes to eat...LOL!
This will be my boys 1st deer rifle. I hope he likes it.

I'm glad you got it. You just saved me some money I didn't have to spend
I have owned 2 of them. My first was a .243 and my second one a .257 Rob. My .243 had a 3x9 compact Leup and thye .257 had a 2x7 compact leuplold. Nice match for the rifles size and use. My buddy had one in .3006 but it kicked like a mule and he parted with it. Enjoy !!!!!!
