I've read contradicting articles online. If the Wrangler does or will have a factory .22 Magnum option? Some have speculated, No, not bcuz it can't handle it, but as to not interfere with the much more pricey Single Six' line. Threads about SAAMI pressure, & comparing 'Quality' {say Ruger is better} to Heritage Rough Rider, which shoots both. DIY options etc. Other info suggested they are coming out with the option. Anybody know any information on this? I was thinking to pick one up on sale. Thnx

Ruger hasn't announced them yet, and they fill the American market before our own. With Covid that means its a year minimum before we see them in Canada, and that's if they announce them tomorrow, and there is zero indication from Ruger themselves that its happening. So actually finding one on sale, is probably 18 months best case scenario.

You're talking about Announcing the .22 Magnum Cylinder for a Wrangler? Have you heard this revolver will get a {factory} .22WMR?

Correct. Ruger hasn't announced anything about a 22 wmr option for the Wrangler at all. I personally doubt that they will, although hope they do.

There is threads were some reamed out a cylinder, & are shooting it. Most people are saying, "But it will cancel your warranty"! lol If the Chiappa & the Rough Rider have both, I don't think the Wrangler would have a problem shooting the WMR. Chiappa is pretty cheap! I haven't verified, but one commenter said {& I quote} "It is interesting that the SAAMI pressure limit for .22lr and .22 WMR are the same. You sure wouldn't think so shooting one.
The Wrangler certainly gives every impression that it is made better than the HRR. The bore diameter is correct. The cylinder is long enough." SO, if this is true.. then one could do a DIY Cylinder. Mehh~ I dunno. Thnx for the replies.
