Ruger Wrangler

lets not pretend that these are gonna be even remotely similar gun as the single six (ten).
these are gonna be a 2nd cousin 3 times removed.
a simple knock off to get some of the cheap market from Heritage and Chiappa.

that said im gonna buy one to compare against my Heritage and my Single Six!

I like the old single six's the best.... they are hard to resist on the E.E. when they pop up for a similar price to the new Wrangler.
This one below is not mine and would likely fetch a bit more due to it's condition.

Have you checked out a Norinco 1911 in the last ten year. Fit and finish equals most American made ones. Honest!

Yes...yes I have, and no...no they don't.
The newer Norks are garbage, full of MIM guts, poorly machined internals, lousy investment when there are Turk and Philippines guns for very little more.
The old all forged GI guns were decent.

It feels nice in your hand. If it was stronger than 22lr I would not buy. But for a gun that cost me 285. This is worth more for plinking fun.

Doesn't feel cheap in hand feels very nice with grips upgraded

Something tells me you've been out shot by a Norinco 1911, with your high ender.:)

I've had several over the years, trigger pull user to be a bear, but they're much better now.

And the fit and finish is very good. I have a 1911 Sport that will shoot a ragged hole at 10 yds.

Still are forged, and I never look at the inards to investigate the machining there.

Yea, right.
