Has anybody heard when the Ruger made marlins will start hitting the shelves in Canada? Should we expect any quality "hiccups" like happened the first couple years when remington took over??
I was a long-time Ruger admirer, less so nowadays than earlier...but they seem to be one of the worst offenders when it comes to "announcing" a new product, which ends up taking many months or years longer to become available...or in some cases never appearing at all. Still want my XG-1...
I sure hope that a couple years from now won't see us all reading ads on the EE that proudly proclaim a REM-stamped Marlin for sale as though that is some kind of selling point compared to new Ruger/Marlins.![]()

That is the XG-1; I've pretty much given up on that one...
