Ruger's new 338/300 RCM

These little beautys look pretty slick. This is the exact configuration I wanted a 375 ruger in. Wood stock with a blued chrome moly 20'' barrel. Seems strange that this is the first 338 short magnum. Given the recent trend towards short and stubby I am suprised the wonderful .33 has been left out untill now.

Federal introduced a .338 short magnum, a few years ago. Have you seen the Ruger for sale in Canada?

They are barely for sale in the USA at this point! They were announced only a month ago!

The 338 looks interesting. I'd look at one if I was interested ina 338 caliber rifle, which I am not.

the 338 Federal is a 308 necked up to .338" - it is not a short magnum
