RugerStainless 3" SP-101 .357 mag

Okay I've been asked to show some pics of my stainless 5 shot SP-101 .357 so I have posted a few. I have had this for over 20 yrs, has a newer Tritium front sight, and yes the holes on the top of the barrel are ports. Wife enjoys shooting it more than the S&W 36 .38 spl. I switched out the factory spring with a Wolf spring long ago, the double action is smooth and recoil is like 38 Special with hot .357 125 gr and 158 gr loads. It is a light-show in low lighting and can be hard on low ceiling tiles and fun to shoot at the range.

It is - you dont need all the holes but thats how I bought it. Shoots great, a little loud .... flash off the top with hot loads

THE SP 101 is a nice size for .357/.38. The newer 4.2" guns are nice for people that don't have the right numbers on the back of their license.
