Looking at getting a Archangel kit and found a 10/22 but it's the ACU camo stock. This will fit the kit if it's just a standard barrel?

Hey guys. I'm just entering the rifle world after starting with handguns and then shotguns (backwards probably, I know). I'm looking at doing a Nomad/Marauder kit and was wondering:

1) Is there an ideal 10/22 base to use for this kit, with as short a barrel as possible while remaining unrestricted? Or just straight up with an 18"?

2) Are they truly noob friendly? I've never disassembled a long gun before.

Cheers.

There's always the Troy T-22 Chassis.

Higher price point but it's far more bad ass.

add a Volquartsen black barrel and TG2000 trigger assembly coupled with your Troy precision machined chassis, and you will have about the highest quality 10-22 variant you can make.
Cheers..

I don't start a build without a plan ;]

I will still be changing parts out with the following:

- KIDD Bolt Buffer
- KIDD CNC Bolt (Black, Scalloped)
- KIDD Cocking Assembly (Black)
- KIDD Trigger Job Kit (Black)
- Tactical Solutions X-Ring Barrel 16.5" (Olive Drab)
- Tactical Solutions X-Ring Barrel V-Block

Plus a few other finishing touches.

Has any one seen the kit from Sons Of Guns for the ultimate zombie killing gun episode, I saw it was on there website for 299.99. Does anyone know if they can send them to Canada ?

How did you do that with the ITAR $100 limit?

With a little bit more paper work.

Need to get an International Import Certificate from DFAIT, fill out a document or two and Brownells gets an export certificate for you from the US. Brownells does a good job of facilitating the transfer, contact Sandy Moranville from their international department and she can set you up.

So I can buy a non restricted 50 cal. semi auto Bullpup from Tactical Imports, but I'm prohibited from getting a .22lr bull pup stock?

Yea.........that makes sense.

Canadian guns laws designed to confuse.

:bangHead:

Yup...Canadian Gun Laws are as clear as mud.
Right From The Horses Mouth.....

"The following devices are prohibited from entering Canada:

silencers or devices designed to muffle or stop the sound of a firearm;
certain cartridge magazines above a given capacity. Generally, cartridge magazines are limited to 5 rounds for centre-fire, semi-automatic rifles or shotguns and 10 rounds for semiautomatic handguns, with exemptions for certain magazines;
bullpup stocks;
replica firearms (see additional information on replica firearms below); and
devices prohibited by regulations."
