Anyone have any ideas on value, no I do not want to sell it I just think I under paid and it is in very very good shape. All the bluing is 95% and the wood I would give 85% or better. Clean trigger pull and I can't wait till range night on monday!!!!!!!

You never found that at the Regina gun show last week ,
did you??? Never saw it there during set up.
 
I found out about it before the show so i was able to do some side stepping to get it before others found out about it. That saturday is a bit crazy at teh show and then at the local gun shoppe so I feel lucky to have found her.

The drum did not come factory with that gun it is actually a build I am trying out, if it works like I think it will I will make a write up on it. Man its nice not to have a rimfire mag capacity.
 
much as I hate to be a cold shower-I seem to recall all Ruko (Pietta ) 50's being recalled in the mid-90's due to F/A conversion simplicity...
 
well, if that's the case, i guess i won't ask any questions, and will go turn mine in (just to be on the safe side). drews, since i'm going anyway, send me yours and i'll take it too. make sure those mags get packed, and don't forget that drum.
 
I have the same gun but without the barel shroud and only a 15 round mag and it's labeled Squires Bingham.I bought it at Canadian Tire for $115.00 in the late 80s.
 
your question was about value. did you ever figure anything out? i paid 200 apiece for mine about 2 years ago. might seem steep to some, but if they function flawlessly (and both of mine do), i think they're worth every penny of that. buying extra mags is a killer, however.

i think comparing them to the "value" of a 10/22 with all the aftermarket availability is like apples and oranges, but i like oddball stuff, so maybe i'm not a good representation. that being said, i also have 3 10/22s.

good luck with your drum, hope it works. if it does, i'll buy a couple from you.
 
Well as far as value I had an email offer of 250 without the drum and I turned it down. It shoots great after a cleanup job and some oil. Mag works great and I have the mag feeding the rounds consistently so I just have to make the feed lips line up with the action and she will go to the range. I am fairly confident it should function but I am looking for consistent function to call it a success. That means that when I am happy with everything I will put a few hundred rounds through it in a session.

I would kill for an extra mag or 3 for the Ruko. If you ever find any let me know if you are not buying them, I am going to the US real soon so I am going to do some shopping around. If I find any do you want?? No mark up of course, just looking to help out a fellow Ruko owner!!:D
 
i thought i had already told you. oh well. 60 bucks apiece for 15 shot. pricey, but i once spent 90 on a promag after reading a pile of bad reviews, and when you are the only place around that sells something, you get to charge what you want, cause eventually some sucker (me) will pay it.
 
Wow when I bought mine I picked up an extra 15rd mag and I think it was only $15.00.Id love to have one of those big mags or a drum.
 
Actaully to clear it up a bit the drum mag is a custom build I am playing with. I need a donor mag though to finish the thing though. I was gonna pin my stock mag inside the drum but when I stripped the drum I realized I could make it feed .22 and it does but I need a donor mag for finishing it up.
