Ruko Scope

Just picked up a free scope, it`s a ruko scope model aa 4 x 40. Just wondering has anyone here used one of them and are they any good? I was going to try it on a 303 but not sure if it is worth putting on. Scope looks to be in good shape and it`s clear.

Had that very scope on a .30-06 for a while.It was used when i got it.I sold it to someone else and as far as i know,it's still going.

I have used a couple of them. They were made in Japan in the seventies. Never had a problem with any of them.

I have 2 Ruko's .
Both are bang-on , duplex reticules , and have delivered every time.
I used these scopes for a number of years now.
One is a Ruko "Hakko" 1.5-8x20 on a Remington 597mag and the other is a 2.5x20 on a buckbustin' No5 Lee Enfield

I still have a Ruko 4x32 with Duplex Reticle kicking around that I had on my .270 in the 70's until I put a 2-7X Redfield Widefield on it. Ruko might be made by Hakko? I believe it's supposed to be weaver type quality.
