rules point(s): switching tops back and forth in middle of a match, in Production

yeah I'd have to say swapping a top end would definitely be wrong. if not rules wrong, morally wrong.

(hey look I can actually say morally without cracking a smile, oh wait, nope I smiled)

whew.... what a can of worms... ;)

I asked for a formal reply for NROI Canada...It's not allowed

ok, sight black it is (funny how everyone got all hot and bothered by the first idea, and ignored the subsequent ones ) ;)

People, calm down... :) it's just a game  and I was just asking a question

well said looks leek some shooters want to play games rather then be in a shooting game.

Omen... that is in my opinion flagrantly abusing of the rules and shows a lack of Sportsmanship.... Use one gun/upper... if you have to resort to that type of... I'll say it "Cheating" then I suggest you get a "Life"

I know you like to win but at what expense? I think your reputation is worth more than to change uppers to shoot at poppers at 30 yards + I am sure that this will set a fine example to our new shooters.

Do what the rest of us do... squint, take aim and fire... IPSC1 matches has poppers out to 75 yards, no complaints there.

Its your reputation :)

yeah, whatever, man...

It's great that we have so many people who are only too happy and willing to be the great moral compas for the whole of shooting sports... Not content to ##### and moan about things which people actually DO, now great offence can be caused by ASKING about something... Sorry, perhaps we can have an addendum to the rule book, listing topics which are now subject to discussion banning?

In this whole thread, we have maybe 2-3 people actually addressing the topic at hand - the "legality" of what was actually proposed/asked about - to those, I thank you. The rest, who decided to get all hot and bothered by the idea, regardless if it was allowed or not, or got offended that someone would even ask this - seriously, get a life. Whatever is allowed by the rules, is fair game, whatever is not is not. Wait for an actual decision before getting all upset... :bangHead: It's no more than an xbox game, at this point, just with a more dangerous controller, not worth getting your blood pressure up over.
