Does anyone know if a CZ 454 22 LR magazine is interchangeable with a CZ 457 22 LR rifle?

Are they the same magazine? Whether it is a 5 round or 10 round magazine, they should all be interchangeable.

Right?

I cannot find an answer on the internet for the life of me......:)

Hello, I have searched for the same thing and found out that Cz452 and 455 mags are compatible with each other. But Cz457 rifles require Cz457 magazines. An easy way to tell is that the new 457 mags are plastic and the old ones are stamped out of metal.

Doesn't Canada source all of its CZ products from Europe?

I'm not an importer nor an expert, but both of my Shadow 2s and my Bren 2 Ms are stamped as "Made in CZ". I've seen some that say CZ-USA on them at the range and in peoples' posts, so I'm going to assume it's a bit of both.

Whether my guns went through the US before getting to me, I have zero clue, but none are American made which gives me some hope.

CZ 457 22lr. mag part #'s | Rimfire Central Firearm Forum

According to Toomany22s on this rimfire forum, CZ models 452, 453, 455 and 457 22 LR magazine are the same.

For some reason, no one mentions the CZ 454 model mags.

Someone knows the answer to this question.

Are CZ 454 22 LR mags interchangeable with CZ 457 22 LR rifles?

I stand to be corrected, but I believe CZ 454 mags are compatible with CZ 456 mags.

Thank you Grain, I can only assume you had a type-O on the CZ 456 mag description from above.

I'm certain you meant CZ 457 and CZ 454 are interchangeable.

I will confirm this Wednesday when I compare the two mags at the shop.

Thanks again!........:)

My 75B has both. Says CZ-USA Kansas City on one side of it, and Made in Czech Republic on the other side. I assume it's one of those "assembled in the USA" type deals to get around their import laws.

So, the CZ 22 LR 454 magazine is in fact identical to the CZ 22 LR 457 magazine.

I tried them in both guns, as well as compared the two directly.

Identical.....:)

In the US, anything that is imported into the US must have the importer name and location engraved.

So the firearm is made in CZ, but it is imported by CZ USA. So you will see CZ USA on the firearms.
