"Running of the V-Bulls" F-Class Match Kamloops 23-24 Oct

I'll be at the "Stiff Nipple Snow Fest" aka Gil Hurst FOTP. You, No shooting? Weird.....or What. Yup, Richard did well but I don't think there was many 7's there. Mostly 6BR's / dashers and a few 6.5's. I shot the 264 WSSM with all the leftovers from cancelled matches and missed events. I'm going to have to shoot left overs for the little 6 unless works slows a bit and I have time to make some stuff up for the new PGW 308. Later.
Cheers, Glen

!!!! CAR POOL TO THE V-BULL !!!!\

Anyone interested in carpooling up and back to share costs ?? I can bring three others besides myself in my truck , am planning on leaveing early Friday Am to be up there in time for any shooting activities that are happening then returning Sunday rite after the shoot ,other details to be worked out , Let me know ASAP

Chris, Excellent idea and I will be glad to have your help. I will be there at noon to begin set-up, and we will have an orientation and practice shoot at 3:00.

Jerry, Format will be as posted but it would be a good idea to bring an extra 15 rounds for a team shoot.

We will be doing the team shoot Sunday after the second relay at 500M consisting of 4-person teams; entry will be $10.00 with all fees going to support the F-Class National team. We will also have a 50-50 draw for the same purpose.

As of today I do not have a concession arranged but i am still working on it. Any interest in a group dinner on the Saturday after shooting? Nothing outrageously expensive, and nothing formal... just fun. Thoughts?

Group dinner on saturday night would be great !! count me in

Just a note, we WILL have an on-site concession with hot food for lunch and breakfast. Please bring your appetite!!

Profits will go to the Canadian National F-Class Team heading to the World Championships in 2013!!

So approx 88 for the match and 15 for the team match. Will do

Save yourself the headache and let's just go to a group dinnner. It may be cold and it will certainly be dark

Casual dinning with large portions. Someplace where some loud chatter will not be frowned on. Sound good?

Count Blake and I in for dinner.....

For dinner, I am I am looking into...

Montana's?

Lynx Grill?

Red Robin?

Or we have a couple of Chinese Restaurants in town that could handle a load of us if that appeals to anyone.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Also... we will be conducting a new-shooter orientation on Friday at 1500 for those that would like to come out. This will also be a practice session for those that would like to come out anf get zeros. Having a few shooters on hand will be a good thing to take turns pulling targets and getting a feel for the way scoring goes. Please RSVP if you would like to come out and lend a hand

Ian. If that is me you have as #10 on your list please use that spot for another shooter. Am unable to make it due to #@(*&^%$#:bangHead: events beyond my control. I see my old friend Bev Pinney will be there. Haven't shot with him in more than 40 years but I know he will give the other BR shooters trouble. Have a great shoot.

Regards

Aubrey

Ian, I'll also be there at noon to help out in any way. I'll be glad to enter the team shoot thing, but I'm iffy on the restaurant idea.
Can you arrange for the clubhouse trailer to be unlocked Friday? I'd like to put my bedroll in there again as I did for the Farky. Snug, dry, and not a tent. What's not to like? :D

Ian, I got an idea. If you shoot pairs then you could double the numbers. I'd like to see 2guys on each board they could snuggle up and stay warm, at the same time as trying not to break the other guys concentration. Could bring a whole new meaning to "closeness within the shooting community". HA!
Cheers, Glen
