If anyone is interested, this is one of the best prices I've seen around in a while. On sale at Cabela's in Barrie.

Russian 7.62x39mm FMJ 127 grain - 1400 Rounds for $263.99

Picked up a case of 7.62 at Cabelas Barrie today around 1pm. Looked to be about 30 cases or more on the floor. Great price under $300 including tax! I know it is just a box but the ammo box by itself is much nicer than the Chinese stuff I have been buying. If the case is marked correctly it is Russian manufactured in 1973. I haven't cracked open the case yet so I can't say what shape the spam cans are in. The price may be good for two weeks but they will probably be gone before then.
 
I ordered a case will see if it's the same as the other 1400 Rd russian I've already got or newer...

Good price had I not already got 2 cases I'd have picked up more than 1.
 
Yea I seen it too at Barrie . That breaks down to 22 cents @ round ?? I have probably 3/4 case left .... But ya never know

I'm surprised you guys still have some left at that price !!! I had a friend "importing" 3 crates from you last year when she came to QC on vacation.

Good stuff, shoots clean and not that corrosive at all compared to other corrosive stuff

Wish I was still posted in Shilo

If I only lived in Calgary. In ontario 263 is the cheapest we can get using there shipping offer. Otherwise I'd be after the 1440 norinco and Russian 54r all day long lol. I have 1760 of 54r and 4200 rds 39mm surplus. .. rainy day item ya never know. My entire firearm collection is essentially based on these two calibers.
