Russian made "Kobra" Red Dot

There are a few in Canada, but the manufacturer who makes them stopped making them. They've been discontinued for a better part of 2 years now.

Make sense, as the Kobra sights are rapidly being superseded by newer and lighter designs from the West and elsewhere.....

So will any design bureau in Russia eventually came up with a new design or they don't give a damn as the units that need such kind of sights simply turned West?
 
I don't think they give a s**t anymore, the Russian MOD is giving contracts to gear manufacturers in Russia with intent on equipping the army with more western equipment.

All state owned factories and state funded factories will pump out all of their current generation products until something newer comes along, at which point I don't think they can survive after they stop making stuff for the armed forces.

Basically, capitalism is finally taking affect on the Russian army.
