I have several Chinese Maks and one Russian.

The Russian is in excellent shape and has the matching black leather holster complete with spare mag.

Is a Russian worth more than a Chinese and is a military Mak with holster worth more?

It is a prohib, so judging value is tricky. If I want to sell it, how much should I ask.

Get them rebarelled by Bits of Pieces, Barry has done them before. Dlask has as well but I'm not sure if they still do gunsmithing?

The value will be around $1000 for the Russian one at that point, potentially more.

New deactivation standards are too strict. You can't even play with them.

Restricted barrels are easy to find. I have a 9x18mm and a .380 auto barrel for my Bulgarian Mak. Not that I ever use the .380 but you never know...

Yup, get it rebarreled. Barry @ Bits of Pieces is good. You'll net $1000 or so after that.
