NO, I dont have a line on any!

But perhaps if there is enough interest, some large importer can do so. We can only hope...

There are several threads asking about either rebuilt from part sets, or all new builds for various different beltfeds.
I recall threads for:
Browning M1919 and similar M37
Browning M2HB 50BMG
Even the FN Minimi!
The idea of all-new guns is way too cost prohibitive. I cannot see that happening at all.
And Browning .30 and .50 parts kits are getting grossly expensive now, as parts dry up.

So, how about the Russian Maxim PM 1910? (Pulemyot Maksima)
--LOTS of them built. (Dolf Goldsmiths book Devil's Paintbrush quotes 600,000 made!) So no shortage of parts kits.
--###y wheeled Sokolov mount. (Chicks dig that... :) ) http://www.gunpics.net/russian/maxim/maxim.html
--Complex, fascinating mechanics to entertain the technology wonks like me. http://www.gunpics.net/russian/maxim/maximdis1.html
--Funky, intriguing operating system, with that classic Maxim/Vickers handle snapping back and forth.

Yes, the design has been proven already...

--CHEAP AMMO! (7.62x54R) Yeah baby! Do you REALLY want to feed a beltfed .30-06?
--Pre-1946 belts, so NO LIMIT! Yeah, baby! Do you REALLY want a Mimimi with a 5 round limit? What a dopey idea.

One importer told me he was offered PM1910's for a shockingly low price a few years ago. No guarantee that price is still valid, and there are a few other "issues" that have changed since. But, I feel its worth following up on.
Yes, the RCMP do not follow the BATFE definition of just the S/N right sideplate being the "firearm". So it will require the complete receiver box to be built from new. However, the parts are fairly simple, being mostly flat plates. I dont see this being a deal breaker.

This is just to test for interest. This is not an auction ,so please, no posers tossing big dollars around please.
If it was priced fairly (your call), would a Pulemyot Maksima appeal to you?

Years back I remember that many rural homes in NS had German Maxim guns in a deactivated state for lawn ornaments. The really fancy homes had a deactivated cannon/field gun as well as a pair of Maxims. All of them painted with copious amounts of black tar.

Really nice seeing a Maxim going bang-bang-bang. ;)

The parts kits would need to not use any if the 5 walls of the receiver to keep from being classified as a converted auto. Saving that we're good! I'd be down for one. What red rifle collection would be complete without one?

Pre-1945 are unlimited. 1945 designed belts would be limited. Just saying.

"(f) is of the “belt” type consisting of a fabric or metal belt, is not a reproduction and was originally designed or manufactured for the purpose of feeding cartridges into a automatic firearm of a type that was in existence before 1945."

The Maxim would still be fine obviously.

We really need a modern gun like the SAW or Minimi adapted to use really old belts hahaha.

Rather an MG08 or 08/15

German sledge mounted MG08 or light bipod MG08/15 style would be cool, but only if there is a warehouse full still available.
Very doubtful, as they were on the losing side, so tend to get destroyed immediately after capture.
As well, production stopped in 1918, at end of WW1.
The Soviets continued to build PM1910's thru WW2, then put them in storage afterwards.

I would be in for a build kit or plans. Not to keen on purchasing the final product, but would love to build one!
I am guessing they need to purge all the refurb maxims as there is no use??

Same here I would rather make one from a kit/plans then buy the finished product.
