I had one of the ones that had been rebranded for export , etched on the metal around the guard if I remember right, as well as an original with just the factory stamps to show the parts matched. The same gun except for the etched info. The export rebranding started after a certain date, other might know when but it was at least 10 years ago.Russian or Ukrainian are the same soviet SKS. The difference is Russians put civilian markings on various parts of the rifle for export purpose. It is what you need to look for or ask dealer if any present on rifles.
