Russian POSP scopes vs. "Regular" Optics?

Hey guys,

Can anyone here comment on how the POSP line of scopes stack up optically to the usual scopes we are used to? I really, really, like the range-finding reticle on the 8x42 scope, but the scope has a price of about $190, and I don't want to drop that kind of money on something that is worse than a cheap Tasco.

How do these things stack up to, say, the Bushnell 3200 line or VXII or something like that? I don't mind if the scope is bomb-proof with sub-par glass, but it's another thing if the glass sucks, AND the scope can't take a beating.

POSP scopes - are current Russian army issue scopes. They are durable as tank, the glass is very good quality. It's fully multicoated with etched reticle. Scope is filled with nitrogen to prefent lense fogging. POSP scopes are best scopes for the money, but I doubt that you can get new POSP 8x42 with warranty for $190 CAD.
