Russian SKS price check?

Looking for a Russian SKS with a chrome lined barrel. Preferable not a frankenpin, but not a must. I am trying to find the cheapest price on a hardwood stock model because I intend on bubbafying it with some Tapco hardware.

If anyone knows the best place around to buy one right now let me know. I already know that Lebarons sells them for $185, but I was just told that they are frankenpinned by someone. Can someone varify that?

he just purchased them from LeBarons, not sure you will find them any nicer without paying a premium, or them being hand picked

One option: getting a Chinese SKS wouldn't be more expensive... possibly cheaper too. And they shoot as well.

A spacer welded to the bottom of the magazine = frankenpinned because you can see the damage on the outside of the magazine, and it also (usually) erases part of the serial number on that part.

A spacer welded to the magazine follower = proper job.
