I noticed gotenda added “this is our final batch of sks rifles”

Does that mean, final batch ever? Final batch this year or the next while? I need to know to panic buy or not ;)

There are 10 year old posts on CGN stating that there would be no more SKS to be found... so take that as you will.

However, 10 years ago I bought a "select grade" Russian SKS for $149.00 too.

Eventually supply will run out, or at least the price will continue to climb.

Maybe they’re getting out of the sks game because they’ve taken quite a bit of sh!t for selling duds as hand picked, super grade, etc.

Ruh roh.... now makes me second guess tenda...

I've ordered several from tenda now without issue, remember that people who had issues are gonna be more vocal than satisfied customers. Not saying you can't get a lemon, but I don't think it happens as often as people believe.

So just how big a pile of these things do you expect there is?

Finite supply meets insatiable demand. Russia was cut off from a lot of its traditional markets after it invaded Crimea, parts of eastern Ukraine, and was implicated in shooting down an airliner.

I bought my tickets to Voodoo Lounge tour.

It was sold as the last Rolling Stones' concert tour.

Believe it or not the SKS will outlast even the Rolling Stones.

Recommended reading for anyone thinking there's always gonna be more SKSs popping out of the woodwork.

>Estimates of SKS rifles left in Ukraine are now around 120,000. That sounds like a lot, but the demand for these rifles in Africa is extremely high and as many as 40,000 are sold each year. The supply will not last.

I feel like for the price they are going for, norinco could make brand new ones for cheaper. They made the m14 $400 new when they first arrived.

My understanding is that there are at least two large warehouses filled, however they are being held in reserve as the country or countries cannot afford modern replacement rifles. No more are going to auction.
