I am in for one - choice - if there is one 1955/56 Tula - V/G or better. Questions if you can answer or, do you need to wait until they come in? What selection (s), prices, makers, are there? Accessories if any?

If they start at $229.95 how high does the price go for the top quality ones?

when i called half an hour after their post and talked to marlin, he told me the better quality ones are gonna be priced a little bit higher.

Cool. As long as it shoots good that's all that matters. Now I wonder if I should pick up another couple of cases of ammo. Between the girlfriend's norc sks and myself the two and a half cases I've got could go fast.

As of today I know little more other then the rifles are Russian made, and they are coming in Mid Fed 2008. The condition on the rifles will vary as always and the best of the batch will probally go for around $249.00 in order to balance the costs of the rifles in worse shape (aprox $229.00). I am only looking for names right now and not credit cards, as I want to be able to post pictures once the rifles arrive so that you will know exactly what you are getting before making up your mind.

In Russia the rifles sold to the public are modified - the bayonet mount is removed AND the bore is drilled and a piece of metal is inserted to create a unique signature for every rifle (under the hand guard).
Are your rifles processed this way?

Thank you.
