Russian SKS rifles

we shall soon see. at least we arnt paying full price , any russian for $229 shipped +tax is cheap unless its been runned over by a tank.:D

Russian SKSs haven't been on the market for some time, but lets not forget the "collector/hand-picked" version will likely exceed $300 after tax/shipping.
They'd better be good ones!

Hmmm, good thing I took advantage of the "special offer - order a shooter SKS now and recieve free shipping" eh??? :runaway:

No kidding , That's why I called today to change my order from a shooter grade to a select grade but naturally they are sold out . Guess I'll wait for the shooter grade I supposedly have on order . Hope they don't change the order processes again ,

No sense in complaining. For the sake of an extra 40 bucks or so, shoulda went with the hand select grade. That's what I did.

I'm not complaining, as I actually spoke up for one of each, but the "shipping" issue was a way to get folks to commit to a purchase when they may have been sitting on the fence

I put my hand select order in about a month ago. $300 for an excellent condition russian is a good price, even in the USA nowadays, so I couldn't resist.

When I called to confirm my payment information, he wanted to clarify that I DID want a rifle with carvings or engravings, should there be any.

It's valuable/interesting, as a historical piece...right? Or am I just a weirdo?

Just to clarify the free shipping on "all firearms" this applies to new long guns only. The SKS rifles are only to be shipped prepaid if they are the shooters grade rifles. Now as an update, if you purchase a crate of 7.62x39mm (1120 rounds) with your SKS rifle for $199.00 we will prepay the shipping to you. There are some remote destinations that will be excluded from this as DHL will charge almost the price of the gun to deliver. We only have a limited amount of ammo set aside for this so it is first come first serve. For those who have already placed your order, you can call or email to have a case of ammo added to your order.

Pardon my stupidity - i was hoping someone could answer a question for me.
I emailed the order form to the email provided, which had all my info, but i didnt get any emails or calls back. The form i mailed didnt have my CC number. However a few days ago i got an email from them with an offer to buy a crate of ammo.

So my question basically is, where do i go from here to make sure i get my rifle when their shipment arrives? Why didnt they ask me for my CC number so that they can charge it when the shipment arrives?
Sorry for a dumb question, but im a little confused.
