Russian SKS Serial Number Registry

I don't know if this is still alive, but my christmas present this year is a Tula 1953 SKS s/n 0K2297 (it's not 100% but that's the majority, the gas tube above the barrel is etched 5757)

Both specimens hail from Canada.

The lowest serial numbers are 5, 7, and 8 respectively. I actually own the 8. ;)

Where would 0r 439 range in a 1949?
 
I just got a supposed unfired one. Serial number is nP###xn (both of the "n's" are cryllic backwards). Only a diamond stamped on the cover.

So....1952?

Great reading on the other thread! I found out mine is not a 1952, but a 1955/56 light refurb from the 5th GRAU arsenal at Alatyr, Russia. As for being "unfired", I'm not sure. Although the barrel and BCG look pristine with no marks (either from wear or otherwise).

1950r Tula SKS, serial is TГ 711. All parts are numbers matching. The gas tube has the number scribed in by hand. The stock is laminated, which I'm assuming means it's not original. The wood on the gas tube does not match the stock.

Nice to have a new SKS collector on board! As you can see this stickyed thread is a ghost thread but it contains useful statistics and information
to help us figure out where our rifles fit in the picture. I happened to notice your post and followed you in here to bring you back into the living.:wave:

I've got an all parts numbers matching 1954r Tula SKS. (Star symbol with arrow pointing up)

I have a 1954r tula unfired unfurbished as far as i can tell original markings are all present it is for sale if anybare interested make an offer ser no fE 5607
