Russian SKS weight?

Basicly looking for the weight of a refurb sks with wood stock.
PS: I checked sticky, and searched, so if I missed it, my bad..

In and around 8.8 lbs.

Might be a tad less than that. CP usually says 4.30-4.65 kgs for gun,box,and bubble wrap I see going over my old receipts.

I was interested in the weight myself .Using a digital fish scale mine weighed in as follows.Slings,cleaning rod,and kits were on rifle at the time.1951 tula birch stock 9lb2oz.1954 izzy laminate stock 9lbs even.1953 tula with tapco stock 9lbs2oz.so it looks like there around 9 lbs with all the kit .I have not weighed them without the bayo's or cleaning rods etc.

My 1955 Tula with birch stock weighs 8.0 lbs on my digital bathroom scale including cleaning kit and sling.
