Russian SKS, Who has them still?

Is Wolverines from the IZH or Bell shipment???

Whats the difference between their 3 grades???

spoke to john and he said he believes they are all refurb , the difference in pricing is based on the exterior condition , best you call and talk to him.

spoke to ed at moving target in entwistle has one (he thinks its unissued) left a 1954 . dont know pricing .

Who has some from the IZH shipment? I ended up getting a Bell and I'm not really happy with the oversprayed paint job on the barrel and the painted bolt.

Moving Target in Entwistle Alberta is getting more hand selects in around Feb 15.
I ordered one, we'll see what eventually shows up.
No idea if they are from Bell or not.
I rather like playing this SKS crapshoot game :D

From what I've been told, nobody knows how good or bad the rifles are until their order arrives at their store, as nobody buys (or can buy) 'hand select' from the distributor.

Milarm in Edmonton had quite a few Russians left. 1951 and up refurbs with the black bolt carrier's. Had a couple with laminate stocks. Plus, was there today and they had a couple non-refurbs (no stamp anyways) but with laminate stocks. They looked pretty nice.

IZH is prefered, mostly due to the way the mags were pinned (a metal rod welded to the follower arm)

Bell welded a large slug into the bottom of the mag and covered it up with krylon black paint, which while not affecting the functioality, makes it look ugly.

not sure if there are any other big differences, as I havnt seen anyone post pics of Bells
