Russian SKS

SKS's were allowed in the states at one point, but not any more. Since there are no more being imported, the prices there are a lot higher. The Americans are pretty jealous of us in Canada at the moment.

If they are Russian milsurp lovers they would be jealous... it's a better situation in the USA for almost anything else firearms related.

As stated by others, if the OP thinks he's bringing foreign made guns over the border, he'll be in for a big surprise. I see $200 SVT's advertised and there are cheap ammo/SKS deals to be had. I'm not in the market for either so I can't write specifics.

I've heard that it would be ok to bring an SKS over the border. Guess I'll find out when I apply for a 6NIA form. Not for an SKS but the SVT40. I'll update the thread when I have an answere.

Btw I'm not planning on selling it there.. Just traveling thru and coming back with it.
