Yes, he was talking about the big shipment, and with the new price drops, the consumer price would be $199(plus taxes). Seems like good news to me.
 
If this shipment takes any longer to clear customs, you'll be voting in the next federal election and still talking about it.

The last time I checked, the Collectors Source in Acton, ON had several SKS's in inventory, including Russian laminate stock (earlier Syrian imports) and Chinese synthetic stock models.

I've dealt with them on many occasions. They are a little more expensive then others, but carry firearms that some dealers only dream about carrying. Give Fred a call and see if they are still in stock. You'll be shooting one long before this thread reaches 2000. Highly recommended, and I have no affiliation with the company.

All this is not about getting a SKS . Lets face it they are not the best thing out there far from it . This is about getting a CHEAP Russian sks . And you can bet a lot of them will be in the EE shortly after they arrive . At twice the price of course

Can't be 100% sure it'll be at $200 when they get here, but that's what he believes they will go for as of yesterday.
 
First batch should be shipped this week... or at least I hope so :)

The :50cal:Mini-14's, SKS:50cal: are on borrowed time unless we can get rid of that Long Gun Registry.

They'll all make great blast furnace fodder when the returning Libs reel them in within 5 years.

That's assuming the Liberals ever get any power. Looks to me they are headed the way of the Dodo... or at least it's a possibility, and I can be hopeful if I want :redface:

I bought and paid for mine with a case of ammo. I got no more ammo for my CZ 58 so..I..need...the....SKS...to ....ARRIVE!!
 
FWIW, I called Frontier a couple weeks back to re-confirm my order for the mini-shipment. They told me quite bluntly that the mini-batch will NOT be as nice as the original larger batch was supposed to be. They specifically told me they would have NO collector grade guns in that batch - only shooters.

Also, NO MATCHING NUMBERS GUNS.

I immediately cancelled my order. I have enough "shooters".

Just a FYI.
 
Weird... because when I ordered from the mini-batch, they asked me if I wanted "Collector's grade". Then I said, "Is this supposed to be a trick question? You damn right I want collector's grade.". I'm just hoping for the best... I'll be upset if my SKS sucks though.
