Russian SKS45 long thread.

I sent an email to one of the retailers on the weekend asking about the SKS. The reply was basically that they have been told the rifles will be here within 2 months but, as we all know, they have been told that before.
 
After all this time I have the feeling the Ukranians said Thanks You Very Much for the money, but no SKS for you! IMHO.
 
The Ukrainian SKS scam, classics never get old.
Should of checked your emails bell, there was a letter going around warning people about it!
 
Well it happened to one of the smaller US Importers with RC K98's a couple of years ago, could History be repeating itself ? Its just a personnal opinion with no hard facts, but it is starting to smell very bad me thinks!

I spent the summer working up north, in the middle of nowhere... Before leaving in June, I called SIR to make sure they had an alternate contact for me so that my buddy could receive and hold onto the rifle for me...

Fast forward 12 weeks...

I called SIR last night to take my buddies name off my order as I am now home and don't require an alternate shipping plan. While chatting with the guy at SIR, I asked, "When are you expecting these rifle to arrive?"

His reply, "They are in the country, and sitting around in a customs warehouse..."

I took that "inside info" with a large grain of salt!!! They will get here when they get here... I'm with curtton, I still want my $169 Russian SKS!!!

Well, lets just say they do finally make it here. Someone owes a lot of money in container fee's and probably container storage fee's. Do you think the rifles will still be at that price when they arrive?????????
 
Don't really care anymore. I cancelled. After the election and the hopefully new Harper majority it will be hello to CZ.
 
I ordered 2 from SIR, the only thing is No gun NO pay, sure they have Credit card numbers but what the hell are they gonna charge for if there are no guns that come in, I'm not worried anyway, there just a toy in the big firearm picture, that's why everybody wants 1 or 10!!!!!!
