Russian SKS45 long thread.

I guess the main reason why I wouldn't want to shoot my non-refurb is cause I hear the Birch stock eventually cracks and splits from the recoil. The laminated stocks are supposed to be more resistant to that.

Yeah, I am glad too they changed their website.
Called them this morning asking for any updates and the lady that answered said she can't tell me anything for sure. As soon as they get them they will let everybody know.

did anybody actually get any from SIR? Or is that update just just the original one they had from the start?
 
Not to change things, but did any of you see the SKS at williams? Has some accessories, grenade sights. What is it? Price is high. Not beating on Williams they are good to deal with.
 
I think that's the original update they had a while back. I can't recall seeing that before but..... its 2009 and it says the first shipment is expected July 2008.

thats right , this is an old ad , since then SIR mailed a letter dated jul 11th , moving the ETA to sept.. when that didnt happen , they pull the ad shortly after .

putting the ad back on means they are expecting to deliver soon . :dancingbanana:
