i believe bandolier is tha ammo pouch and with 4 stripper clips .

Will they all be marked like this? I hope mine is.

Now you guys leave deadlydelta alone. I mean a big company like SIR should never tell you a rifle is selling for a price and then change the price over 1 year later when the dollar drops and the rifles finally get here. And they definitely shouldn't allow us to preorder knowing this could happen.:onCrack:

there is some truth to this. price should not have been mentioned. just my opinion:)

Just read through deadly's other posts throughout our site...........he needs to get the boot!!
 
Without a price, it could have been set today at $500. I doubt SIR thought it was going to take a year to get the rifles, or that the dollar was going to go down the crapper. IF the dollar went up and the prices dropped, would we still be upset that last year's price isn't correct anymore?

yes, yours should , original arctic birch should have factory mark, date and SN . the laminated has only the SN.

could you post a pic , i would be interested in finding out .

I will try to post some tomorrow. It has the refurb stamp on it, and a few letters individually stamped on it.

Now that I look it over, it might not be the original from this rifle, since I see that some numbers have been "X"ed out, and the serial number stamped below it. Maybe during the refurb process they replaced the stock, but not with a laminated one, but an original birch one.

I would be very surprized if a business had pre sold 800 of something at a fixed price and then came out later when they get here saying they got them cheaper and desided to lower the price on the 800 that were all ready pre-sold. but like I said before I am not acusing them because of what one girl on the phone said. I will wait to see what happens. I'm sure they will still be a fair price but hopefully the same as offered before.
 
I've been away due to a #### polluted comp only to return and find a little bit of nastiness directed at curtton. Well the man knows his stuff and if you can't stomach the answer, don't be pissed at the messenger! He's a good guy and dad, so you might be outnumbered in your thinking. I talked to Marlins shop today and will be paying $283 for a hand picked delivered all nos match. Sounds like a deal to me. Its the first I've heard from them in a year so it should be soon. I'm out of the loop as far as hearing who has received what from who already, but frontier seems to be on the ball. Cheers Pete
 
WOW! I never thought this thread would have gone so far. We can keep it alive by all posting pictures of the SKS's were receive. Let the post whoring continue ;).
