Russian SKS45 long thread.

I forgot something from my last post. From Milarm I received some "bonus" gear...three leather pouches, sling or strap, bottle of oil, and some sort of black spring / tube. I have no idea what any of this is for. I am going to bed now, but I will try and get pics up tomorrow of everything.

I won't know til it gets here. I think that's what is making me craziest!!! Argh!!!
--- Sorry Val, --- having trouble with this site, or its the Dail up at this end, --- keeps shutting down, I have asked for a Laminate one since Day One, and He says he has one for me, I wondering a lot Too !!!!!!! sorry again for the delay !!!!!!

MC still not billed by Frontier... I'm sad.

Hey Claven2, you can look at mine when it arrives!!! I'll let you play with it, but you have to promise to give it back!!!

Cheers

P.S. If the last year is any indication, wrt imports of cool cutting edge guns... I'll need another gun safe shortly... M14, Russian SKS, SemiAuto Sten Mark 2 (in the works), Pink 10/22 (not mine, my wife's, I won't even play with it...), regular 10/22, Martini 577-450... Not sure if I remember them all, oh ya, Grizzly and the Type 97... Still waiting on the Type 97, but I have patience, ha ha ha, NOT... Hey, we at 3000 posts yet?:50cal:

I saw some real beauty Russian SKS refurbs at Al Simmons in both birch and laminate. The year was 1954 and Tula factory. At 225 for the laminate its a good deal.

WooHoo...Never been so happy to see a charge (from Frontier) appear on my credit card. So Hopefully that'll put the rifle in my hands by late next week. :D
