Russian SKS45 long thread.

I guess SIR must be black balled by the suppliers . Every one & his brother (dealers) can get a supply of these . But the Big mighty SIR/Cabelas can't ? or is it wont ! Ether way if I get another from them or not I won't be dealing with them again that's for sure.

When??????

when i spoke to them on jan 27th as it mentioned it in my post.

same conspiracy theory. i guess you will have to re-write when they show up in a month .

Well if it wasn't SIR I guess we can kiss there deal goodbye

i was wondering if it wasnt SIR then why are they sending out email stating the original orders pricing is locked in at $169?

could they be selling refurb IZH at $169 ? that might be another possibility.

Are they actually sending out e-mails or just responding to e-mails . And others have posted different responses from them I don't think they have a clue . All my replies from them have said yes still coming & yes same price .
But talk is cheap . Sooner or later they will have to put up or shut up .

I was talking to Gary from Lock, Stock and Barrel today.
He said that Bell is now out of their SKS's, it seems that one dealer cleaned them out.
(he thought it might be Wolverine, but was not sure)

No one store wiped them out. Bell was rationing them among their wholesale costumers. The shop I help out in was allocated 40 even tho they had asked for 60. They arrived a few weeks ago and are all gone.

Elephant, is that one of the bipods from Trade Ex? if so, which one? Im not sure I want to pay shipping to experiment with the spring loaded clamp on type they are selling (I anticipate shipping would cost as much as the bipod itself)

I found a place in Vernon that had sight tools for $5 each, went to order it, and found out I had to be a "dealer" in order to buy stuff from them (they had other cool stuff too, that I wanted)

I have my SKS and ammo, but I have been working 24/7 since they arrived. I am out at the range next weekend come hell or high water.
On a brighter note, I am getting really good at stripping them and putting them back together.
Working on speed tests...lol
