The horizontal scale is mils. The "any caliber" is a lie.

Yup- http://www.gun-blog.com/2009/05/kitty-litter-self-adjusting-chevrons.htmlre the pic: 100m =~ 330ft...
Another thing has me confused, There is reference to 7.62x39mm. I don't think this scope set up was ever intended for such a light powder load. {surely the Russians didn't bolt this scope to an AK?}
i wonder if there are scopes available with that reticle that are calibrated to calibers more common in north america, like .308 win or .223 rem that'd be slick i'd get one for sure
No, it wasn't supposed to be for 762 x 39. The 762 x 39 scope reticle only ranges up to 400m.
I suppose in the rush to sell stuff, some dealers may come up with ways to use scopes designed for 762 x 54 rounds for the 762 x 39 !
It would be best if Teapot would explain it.
Speaking about fellow Teapot2 from interammo,they sell the russian scopeI haven't a clue about these scopes. Why would you assume I did?The SUIT or C-79 sights no problem but not the Soviet scopes. Sorry.
