hello all was wondering if any one has one of these and how will does it work?
i was thinking of picking one up. but was wondering avarge cost of ammo and how will does it shoot.
this price seams right.

any help would be great thank you

The TT33 is a alot of fun, works extremely well and is quite accurate. I shoot the S&B ammo through mine, which is a bit pricey at $17.00/box. I have run approx. 6 boxes through mine and it hasn't missed a beat. I'm not to sure if surplus ammo is available as I haven't stumbled onto any as of yet. Buy one, you won't regret it!

SFRC for one has some ammo , bet theres more on here that do as well

Bought mine with a crate of ammo from Tradeex. Very neat pistol, always goes bang, easy to strip and clean, round has punch, trigger on mine is horrible. Horrible. Really like the pistol anyway.

The trigger on my 1946 is sweet, I liked the design so much
I bought a spare which isn't as nice and had a terrible trigger
Until I stoned the hammer and sear.i think of it as a parts gun.
Buy one their loads of fun and cheap to shoot if you don't mind
The surplus

They are accurate, reliable and affordable to purchase and shoot. They usually shoot well, but that all depends on the bore condition of each pistol. Best of all, its a milsurp! Like many others here, I highly recommend one.

How hard is it to find an unrefurbed example?

Unless it was a vet bring back, most of the TT33's were re-furbed and brought into the country by the big importers. The vet bring back TT33's are scarce, one did recently sell at Switzers though. That's the last one I've seen available since the Wolverine sale. They are usually in rough condition.

You just have to watch for them. This is a 41 i have posted before. It is rough and not refurbed.

I have a very nice mid-war example. As Artyman said, seems like pre war and war time examples are getting harder to find and post war ones are the majority of whats for sale lately.

Sorry, to clarify, if you're looking for non-refurb, war or pre-war era, you just have to look around. The sponsors mentioned are all moving post war Toks right now. All refurb I believe.
