We just got a bunch back in-stock. The last batch was nice and this batch is just as nice. The last batch sold out very quickly so get em while you can.

Chinese Type 56 SKS rifles have landed and are now in-stock. These Type 56 SKS are in very good condition. 五六式 marked Factory 26. Chromelined barrels with bakelite upper handguard.

We also have a small amount of Russian SKS in-stock. These guns are matching number B-Grade shooter guns which may have rust or cracked stocks. Perfect candidates for ATI Strikeforce stock.

Which SKS do you think is better? Comment below and tell us what you think. Personally, I think the Chinese one is nicer because it comes with a built in hot dog roasting stick. The Russians blade bayonet is better suited for roasting chunks of bear meat you just defeated in hand to hand combat.

from this shipment they are unissued but some may have rust and stock repaired.

at italian the price is $520, not the cheapest but not the most expensive either.

their russian is $625 , a bit high.

i would go for the chinese.

Chinese. Final version of the design, better condition, and reliable. The stamps vs milled thing is over-rated for a gun like this.

in this case, the Chinese wins, due to condition alone. They are great shooters, pretty accurate, nicer trigger too. And you don't cry if you scratch one

Between a rusty Russian that's had ? of rounds through it, or an excellent condition Chinese that hasn't , I'm inclined to pick the latter. I don't use bayonet for anything other than to look at...if I did stick something with bayonet, I'd want the spike

(No such thread would be complete without a posting like the following, so here goes...)

I remember buying an unissued, unfired Chinese SKS for $99. I sold it to a range buddy for $99 about a year later.
They are excellent little rifles. Yes, a bit more "budget" in terms of build vs the Soviet rifles, but practically, it doesn't matter.
And it's not like they're going to go down in price over time...

There are new Chinese replacement parts available now and
probably in the future of someone decided to
import parts
