Mine in .303 British shot an .88 three shot group with irons at 100 yards recently.Still working on loads.Ken Waters 95 in 30-40 Krag out shot the military bolt action in the same caliber.No they wouldn't make a gun club.Granted there's the foot long bayonet.

Buddy of mine in Finland has one in 7.62x54R, but I believe the wood had been sporterized. He loves it. Have to ask him if he sees them come up for sale online or in gunshows.

Was that the March 11 1936 shipment on the 9,000 Winchesters from Russia?
I saw a couple of crates full of the Winchesters in Finland some years ago. Along with new, in the crate Colt "Potato diggers" in 7.62 in Russia as well. They never chucked a thing.
