Russian Wolf Ammo in SKS

The big ammo co's in the US are running full out to supply ammo to the US military. Likely no extra capacity for bargain ammo when Uncle Sam is paying top dollar for mil-spec.

The US cannot get enough to supply that market. They are not currently looking for new markets.
So this is a no-go, then? There's no possibility of getting Wolf 7.62x39 up here in Kanaduh? And there's nothing we can do about it?

That sucks :(

Sounds like it's time for me to get into reloading

Not that simple ... My understanding is that the stuff IS "approved" in Canada but that the Russian manufacturer(Tula?) is already running at full capacity trying to supply the U.S. market, we're talking hundreds of millions of rounds a year:eek: . so they really can't be bothered with us Canadians who <might> be up to a few hundred thousand rounds a year as a whole, we're just not worth the hassle to them.

The only option that we <might> have is to outbid the Americans on the ENTIRE production, not gonna happen, as that would cost the kind of serious $$$ that no Canadian business is crazy enough to invest.

There's another Russian "economy" brand out there (Silver Bear?) but I don't belive this one is on the approved list.
