Rut times for white tailed deer

As this will be my second deer hunt with shot gun and my first time with the bow. I have still been learning lots but im still not sure on how the rut times start and stop and how to tell when the rut is started.
Last week I came across a spot at the field edge of some scrape marks on the ground so I did set up a stand in that spot and also set up a cam. Within the night I did get a pic of a doe and one pic with 3 bucks in it, so could this mean they could be in rut or close to ?

Not likely the rut usually starts late october/early november, probably just whats around for deer.

If you have a picture with 3 bucks in it.....then its defiantly not the rut. They wont be able to stand each other when they are in the rut.

The rut is usually around November, when the weather starts to get cold.
