I don't need them as I have enough to last the rest of my days.

I have a lovely Martini Enfield converted to 7x65R. It shoots very well, but my aging eyes are having difficulty with the iron sights, rear diopter, front blade.

This cartridge is a sleeper, most just don't know how good it really is.

In a strong rifle, such as the Martini, Ruger #1 etc it will easily push a 140 grain bullet 2900fps out of a 24in barrel.

I was actually considering converting a #1 Ruger, presently wearing a 338-06 chambered barrel, to this cartridge. That won't happen, cases and loaded ammo are to hard to come by and to achieve its potential, you have to hand load.

I've run across RWS cases with Berdan primers.

Are those cases Berdan primed?

It is the rimmed version of the 1917 "280 Remington"... about 40 years before the latter was introduced: A belated thanks to Wilhelm Brenneke for the 7x64 (and other rounds) Excellent choice for any big game in North America.

They are Boxer primed. I have thought about having my 7X57R rechambered to 7X65 R, but it does everything I need it to just as it is, and brass is very easy to find.

Depending on which action your 7x57R is chambered in, handloads will give you very close to the same velocities as the 7x65R.

The only significant difference shows up with barrel lengths.

Maybe I should polish them up and take another picture. :d

It's not worth nothing for sure but getting them somewhere to be used is dependent on someone evaluating the shipping cost: personally if I had that caliber in RWS brass I'd be interested... eventually you lose or they get damaged and it's nice to keep the even number for lot loading (increments of 20 or 50) assuming the cases are of similar mass. But I have a bunch from other manufacturers. As to scarcity: it's not the most available of the (uncommon) rimmed European brass but it can be found and even Lapua makes it. Everything is scarce today though...

I never mentioned any cost at all, just a mailing address to send it to. Four pieces of empty brass will easily go by mail in an envelope. Just can’t throw it away when I know someone can use it.
