I have a chance to buy some RWS brass for guns I use, and other that I can fireform to hard to find calibers brass for... Is RWS brass good quality and worth the extra expense to get?? It'll be a bit extra as compared to Remington or Winchester, but less than Lapua or Norma...

Has anyone used it??

I only have it in one chambering, the 7x57mm Mauser.

IMHO, it is superb brass, if what I have is any indication.
Annealed right, and good strong head. Primer pockets consistent in size and depth.

Dave.

I use RWS brass in 9.3x64 and 6.5x68.I must have loaded the 9.3 20 times and still going .Ithink I anealed it twice.I would love to get some in 22 hornet and 270 win...john

I had the RWS brass in 7-64 and 6.5-57 years ago.
It was good and consistent brass but I found it very soft, as soft as Federal brass or even softer.
Nowhere near Lapua or Norma class.
For light loads by handloader it is OK for normal and high performance loads not worth the money IMO.
GR8's 2c worth.

I have RWS brass in 6.5x68 , 8x68S and 9.3x64. It is the best brass I have ever used. That includes Lapua, Norma and all the North American brass, Privi and a bunch of oddball headstamps.
