I was trying to find a scope mount locally for my HW30, not the S version, the older one. Hawke has one for $17 at Specialty Shooting Sports, but they want $14 to ship, so with tax it is about $35. When I went to a local shop they had the identical thing but it said made by RWS for their guns with barrel droop so it is machined .025 to compensate (raise the back) for the droop typical on Diana guns, for $35. I heard Weihrauch generally don't have droop, but some do on a gun by gun basis. That aside, if my gun has no droop wouldn't it be good to still have that if I want to zero at 30 yards? I want to buy a decent Bushnell Elite of a Banner depending on what I can find cheap in that class of scope, so I can adjust elevation a lot with them anyways? I will check for droop later, buy just for general knowledge I wouldn't mine people giving their opinion.

You dont really have any droop with the HW30 due to the short barrel. Ive had the HW50 detuned and had no need for a compensating mount.
I now have a PAL HW 85 with long 177 barrel and i installed the same RWS mount your looking into cause i needed it. I then swapped to a .22 K barrel
which is the same lenght as the 30 and it was way off, i had to just about bottom my adjustment. So with a short barrel like you have you wont need it.
If you can find an adjustable one piece mount that would be your best bet then you wont have to worry.
